4. The technologies i have integrated during this process has helped me a lot since i could not have done anything without them or improved as much as I have done during this process.
When it comes to softwares, I used a bit o Photoshoot, Illustrator to do the masthead and Indesign when it comes to the actual creating progress of the magazine itself, arranging the photos to the different pages( cover, table of contents , double spread and back cover).
When it comes to the hardware i used two cameras because one of them did not have enough battery during the first photo-shoot so I had to change them. I used a Canon Sx120 IS and a Nikon D3300 DSLR, these two hardwares helped to get get that professional result that I wanted to achieve. While taking my photos I switched between manual mode and portrait mode and I used the flash for all of the photos to get the darker background so that the model would be the focus and not the background and capture the expression of the model face. Another hardware device that i used during this process is my macbook pro, i used this one in order to edit my photos is the various programs ( Indesign, illustrator and photoshop) I also used my macbook to find inspiration online for my moodboard( I created it on gomoodboard), i found the inspiration on both pintrest and tumblr and finding facts about addictions that could help me with the texts that i would later on put in my magazine. I also used the internet when it came to watch tutorials about the softwares, if i worked at home and my teacher could not help me in that exact moment youtube worked as well and i used the website issue.com to find inspirations for how i wanted to place the pictures in my magazine and the colors.
Last but not least, wixsite.com has been the most important site for my progress since I used it to organise my work and i could also look back and see my progress of the earlier projects that I have done and to see the final work, my magazine- CASH KIDS.
